Can you handle stairs and walk-up apartments?
Yes — no elevator is no problem. Our crews move walk-ups and multi-storey stairwells every week. Stairs add a bit of time (about 10% per flight), which we factor into your estimate upfront, so there are no surprises on a third-floor walk-up.
How do you protect the building’s common areas?
We come prepared with floor runners, wall and door protection, and pads for the elevator so hallways, lobbies, and shared spaces stay damage-free. Protecting common areas keeps you onside with your strata or property manager and helps the whole move go smoothly for your neighbours too.
What about tight access, narrow hallways, and parking?
Tight hallways, narrow doorways, and short loading zones are routine for us. Tell us where the truck can park and any time limits, and we’ll stage the move to keep the loading zone clear and the crew efficient. If a larger item needs disassembly to clear a doorway, we handle that too.
How much notice do you need, and can you do short-notice moves?
Booking a few days to a couple of weeks ahead gives you the best pick of dates and time for the COI and elevator to be arranged, but we do same-day and short-notice apartment moves when our schedule allows.
